Life time of Indian Film Music and now.... starting a new life in USA….!!!!

Mr Inder Pal Singh (Inder) is a one of a kind musician who has achieved what most of us dream in the music world!! He has arranged, recorded and played with all the big name singers, composers and music directors. Who does not know him in Indian film music world?

Born in GWALIOR, a city in MP India, birth place of great musician of Mughal period TANSEN, to a family owned music store owner, Inder was gifted. At a very young age, he used to find the mistakes of accomplished musicians. He graduated in Designing and painting with Master of Arts degree from Jiwaji University. While working for Gwalior suitings, he started musical group known as "Winglets" and performed for people, played musical score where he came on contact with known names such as Kalyanji Anandji, Laxmikant Pyarelal and so on, Anand ji (of Kalyanji Anandji duo) invited him to Mumbai where the real music for films was being created. Now, he was in the main stream. His knack for playing keyboard earned him lots of accolades.

He met young engineer Tarun Shahni in 1995, together they opened a recording studio known as FX Recording Studio in Andheri, Mumbai where he also earned name as a recording engineer, also he became a partner with Anand Raj Anand as music director duo, this partnership was dissolved soonafter. He says, his most satisfying moments were to play with Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle on stage and in recording studios as well.

He played, arranged, recorded and programmed computerized music for almost 25 years in Bollywood for films and private music albums as well, he was favorite keybordist of Bappi Lahiri, who brought Rock, Disco and other western music to Indian film industry for more then a decade. He also worked with legends like Laxmikant Pyarelal, Rajesh Roshan, Annu Malik, Ravindra Jain, Usha Khanna, Rajkamal, Shankar Jaikishan and many more famous composers to name, Inder has unaccountable performances, recordings, arrangements on his credit…these numbers run into thousands.

He lives with his wife Bubly (a very well known film choreographer from Bollywood) in Frederick Maryland. His son Taranjeet Singh is graduating at S.A.E. College of sound engineering at New York. He is doing a few businesses but he has not left music. He has built a recording studio in his home and is planning to create many more memorable music of his own. He also creats karaoke track of latest film songs for singer in the industry.
